Forum themes

So one thing that Discourse is a bit lacking in is themes - when compared to smf.

The reason is, as I understand it, that Discourse is much, much more complex so creating and maintaining a theme is exponentially more difficult.

That said, please do take a look at:

And feel free to suggest any you like.

Please understand that there’s no guarantee it’ll work, and of course I can’t be maintaining dozens of themes behind the scenes, but if something catches the community’s eye, I’ll consider it!

The discourse instances I use “look” more like a forum that the three themes we have available here, that make it feel a bit like something else (Instagram?).

Not sure why. I don’t know much about discourse.

e.g. https://discourse.haskell.org/ – looks like Foundation, but here it has three columns?

Hmm not sure where the three columns are on that forum? I only see one, just with some stats next to the posts themselves.

Oh, it was three columns in this one. But somehow now that’s gone, so I’m happy!

Do not touch anything now :joy:

Haha I removed a module that was incompatible with Horizon

Still learning myself…
