So happy the Forum is back! Thanks so much to Gryzor and everyone who made it possible.

I had a question about the MC0044D board. On my 15khz LCD there are very faint vertical lines. I have only had one previously a number of years back and I seem to remember the same faint lines in the output. I was thinking power. Now this board - someone had made a jumper due to broken power jack trace - I thought cleaning it up may help - I desoldered and made a solid connection with thicker wire but it is basically the same and I am wondering if maybe these boards are like that?

This problematic board also has low volume from speaker AND audio out jack. Can’t seem to fix that either.

For the record - I managed to fix the sound issue - for anyone also trying to tackle. Had to change R301 resistor and C301 electrolytic cap on tape board. Still find these later boards a little less tolerant of RGB to LCDs - but looks OK via Scart.
