In this kind of case, i make a red circle in screenshot around the problem, and explain : “This line should be there because…”

When i have trouble with hardware scrolling, i prompt “use software scrolling with tiles (with double buffer if memory enough)”.

But that don’t make sense, well It make sense for make a versión por the CPC normal, but don’t for the gx4000/plus range. The things its use the hardware scrolling.

I’m try now amspitit liteanything know how the hell i can extract a snapshot outside the emulator?.

You can mix (and i don’t say it works for your project, maybe it will be too slow), for example : sprite hardware with software scrolling, i have done that with Bitume for gx4000.

I don’t think in this case is the best idea, because the hardware of the rally-x arcade wait hardware scroll,so the best aproach to Port It its Connect the motor of the arcade with the hardware scroll of the asic.

But if got It working i try your aproach to made another version for the normal cpc.

> Just dropping this bit of info: Amspirit (a relatively new emulator) exposes a http API which can be used to do pretty much everything from the outside. I would prefer it directly exposes an MCP interface. That way the AI Agent (e.g. Claude Code) could directly discover all functionalities without the need to implement an API integration first.

So Claude can create you an MCP interface to the API layer via a python wrapper - but it would be better to directly integrate it into the application.

Done exactly that with CPC X-Ray. The main purpose was that it can be used directly by claude code.
