This zip contains the source code that is an investigation into:
* screen sizes on various platforms.

The idea here is to see that the for the same pixel dimensions they may result in a border on the CPC
but to take inspiration from other platforms for new games.

* hardware scrolling on the Amstrad CPC and Amstrad Plus computers.

A variety of methods is given with examples of games where these are used.
The methods have a variety of CPU and memory use with their own trade offs.
Maybe these will help others to understand and use hardware scrolling in their own games.

* software scrolling on the Amstrad

A couple of methods for scrolling.

* None of the code is fully optimised so there is scope.

In part it helps people who are less technical who wish to contribute to CPC games to understand
what can be done and the trade offs and limitations and therefore help them to design games that
work with the CPC, in part to help programmers who wish to explore this area, and to help programmers
starting out on the CPC.

All code is released under a MIT license so you can use it an adapt it for your own games without
releasing the source.
