I replaced cpcjs with RVMplayer. This, for me, looks and sounds really nice, but it only supports dsk and hfe I think? So I’ve removed the other formats.

Yeah, I agree it’s mind blowing that you can emulate a CPC in the browser. Even if it’s not new. But I do remember discussions in the Computer Flohmarkt back in the days where some know-it-alls were sooo convinced you could never emulate a CPC properly for all kinds of made up reasons 
Well, RVM is miles better than the previous embedded Caprice32 implementation. Perfect !

Sorry to be a pest, but I’m wondering if there is a way for us to specify some sort of command line option whereby the emulation will run a particular file upon startup?
I really like how CAT happens automatically now, but is there a way to, for example, have the gf2.dsk be associated with a RUN"GF2" upon startup?
Looks very cool. Shame neither of them was particularly mobile friendly and the lack of Plus/Cartridge support is a shame but still a really useful feature overall.

No worries. I think RVMPlayer does support it and I could tweak the parser to pass on any arguments to the emulator, so in theory the answer is yes. In practice, however, nobody will remember to use the correct syntax to do it!
I haven’t removed the code for cpcjs, just commented it out, so I could maybe enable it for cartridge games, if there’s interest. But yes, it’s a shame they’re not mobile friendly - we can only ask for so much
Yeah, nothing worth worrying about - I was just thinking that CPR is quite a useful format for embedding demos, since it’s obviously going to auto run the way you’d expect.
Anyway we can hope that embedding the emulator on such a prominent CPC site will spur on some further development.
I doubt anyone would think “oh hey, CPCWiki now has on-page emulation, I’d better prepare a new prod!” But it could make those productions more accessible.
Hehe, that was actually my first thought when I saw in page emulation. Although finding time is always hard, so it’ll likely be a whole different scenario by the time I’d done anything.
