The MC0044D board questions

So happy the Forum is back! Thanks so much to Gryzor and everyone who made it possible.

I had a question about the MC0044D board. On my 15khz LCD there are very faint vertical lines. I have only had one previously a number of years back and I seem to remember the same faint lines in the output. I was thinking power. Now this board - someone had made a jumper due to broken power jack trace - I thought cleaning it up may help - I desoldered and made a solid connection with thicker wire but it is basically the same and I am wondering if maybe these boards are like that?

Cette carte problématique a aussi un volume très bas au niveau du haut-parleur ET de la prise sortie audio. Impossible de résoudre ça non plus.

Pour info – j’ai réussi à régler le problème de son – si jamais quelqu’un d’autre essaie de s’y attaquer. J’ai dû remplacer la résistance R301 et le condo électrolytique C301 sur la carte cassette. Je trouve toujours que ces cartes plus récentes tolèrent un peu moins le signal RGB vers les écrans LCD – mais le rendu reste correct via la prise Péritel.
