[Amstrad CPC] The Trap Door - Longplay

I always found that despite its slowness, it looked really unique and magical for its year, so full of character!

I loved this on the Spectrum, never played it on the Amstrad. It will give it a try soon

Probably the best licensed game of the era. It was just like the TV show. Spectrum version is better but this port doesn’t really lose anything despite being a bit slower and chunkier. One of the few games on the CPC to actually emulate Spectrum attribute clash and it still doesn’t look bad!

And it’s a neat little adventure game with some quite complex interactions between objects to figure out. Very original too. It’s basically a weird cooking game. Randomising the menu sequence each time you play was a good idea to stop it being too frustrating to figure out.
