Hi, I am getting back into my CPC machines after about a 7 year hiatus and want to attach my M4 board I bought back around 2019 to my Plus machines.
It’s a bit of a stupid question but I have a couple of Centronics to IDC connectors and they are keyed so it appears to me that the M4 would be installed in the wrong direction/upside down. On the M4 the PCB shows pin 1 on the left with the Amstrad logo facing up (photos as examples).
So I am planning to remove the plastic key from the IDC connector but before I do I just want to check I am not missing something and it is actually correctly orientated. If someone is able to confirm I would be grateful.
