You are the cat. Walk all the way round a tomb to open it. Find the key and the kitten, then escape through the door at the top.
The Quantum Catch
Superposition: a tomb’s contents aren’t decided until you observe them. Trace most of the way round and it flickers between two possibilities… Only opening it collapses the truth.
Quantum Zeno effect: ghosts can only move while you are not looking at them. Watch them and they freeze.
And the kitten? Alive… or a ghost. You won’t know until you open the box.
An Oh Mummy (Amstrad CPC, 1984) style game, in chunky CPC Mode 0.
Got to level 5 on first run, 9900pts. It’s getting hard when ghosts outruns you and there are more of them.
Remember to use SPACE to walk backward (and face ghosts), I discovered it at the end and didn’t have time to master it.
One thing: sometimes it’s hard to turn right on time. It’s already hard enough, so maybe adding a kind of soft zone around corners to help changing direction (you move right, you are not yet above a corner but are close enough and you press down, the game aknowledge by continue right until you faced the corner). I think Pacman use this to help you outrun ghosts: you move faster when turning.
