I hope it’s OK to stick a demo up here.

Thanks @slider271
! I hope it’s okay, too.
I’m honored to see many famous CPC sceners have already provided their feedback on its pouet.net page Sunny Day (for A Shadow Party) :: pouët.net .
Feel free to add your opinion there on this short high performance demo.
Also, the dull screenshot is on purpose: not spoil your experience, letting you discover the demo content build up second after second.

Thank you for that, I’ve been using the older version of nocart and the difference is noticeable!
Nice version, and this time without any bug and sounds glitches ![]()
"Hello guys! I want to thank you for the help you gave me to properly view the new CPC WIKI FORUM.
Thanks to you, i’m now using Eclipse Plasma Fox, wuch lets me view the whole forum correctly and access is easily from my old home computer. Thanks everyone!" Back in TOPIC, put these games wich i have loved, work perfectly on GX4000, i’m not a programmer.

Wow! I am extremely flattered to see that my little Fortress has been adapted to the CPR format! ![]()
Thank you so much!!!
That said, this adaptation is based on an older version of Fortress that lacks the options added later—such as difficulty selection and gauge displays—but, above all, it misses out on the computer’s thinking time being cut to a third. ![]()
I hope the latest version (3.0) of my game will one day be converted to CPR as well. ![]()
I love these ones. Good Ideas. Do you know that I never converted Rally II because it failed on CPCEC ? But you shown me here that it perfectly works on real hardware ! Wonderful ![]()
Funny suggestion. You’re the author of the game, you know your code. It’s easy for you to make a GX4000 version, just modify your code to use only a joypad and the P key. After that, just convert it to CPR. It’s as simple as that ![]()
CNGsoft, if you read this, I would love to see a CPR version of Epimetheus with high score save support. Or any of Axelay’s games. Dragon Attack or Relentless with score saving would be perfection. Any good score chasing game.
And Corsair Trainer.
I must admit I don’t know how to convert a DSK to a CPR…
As for my game’s code, yes, it’s 100% BASIC. ![]()
The key controls use the INKEY statement.
To make the gauges change, I use the spacebar, which has the value 47 (so “INKEY(47)”).
It will indeed be fairly easy for me to replace this value 47 with 77 or 53, which (according to the CPC6128 manual) correspond to the buttons on both gamepads.
On the other hand, I don’t know the procedure for migrating all this to a CPR.
And reading the other comments, it looks like I’m not the only one who doesn’t know how to do it, lol! ![]()
Is there a program or a tutorial for that?
Thanks in advance! ![]()
[EDIT]: After digging around a bit, I just found the software “NoCart v1.4”, which should do the trick. ![]()
I just need to figure out how it works, since it looks like it’s command-line based… ![]()
Easy. When you finished to modify your code to make the game 100% joypad friendly, you use nocarte 1.4 in a command line like this :
nocart32.exe “disk image” “output cart” “run filename”
e.g. nebulus.dsk nebulus.cpr disc
And there you go!
Fortress 3.0 for the GX4000 is ready! ![]()
I hope it works for you.
Don’t hesitate to let me know if it doesn’t. ![]()
Happy gaming!
Fortress (2026) En v3.0.cpr (256,1 Ko)
You inverted FIRE1 and FIRE2, at least in main part, but maybe even before
And If you permit me, a black boprder would be nicer than even a dark green. But it’s just a suggestion, of course.
Ah darn…
Yet I used the numbers assigned to the joysticks, as shown below in the CPC6128 manual:
JOYSTICK 1: FIRE 1 = 77 & FIRE 2 = 76
JOYSTICK 2: FIRE 1 = 53 & FIRE 2 = 52
Well, I’ll check my listing… ![]()
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated! ![]()
And here is the new CPR version of Fortress with the fixed FIRE buttons! ![]()
Fortress (2026) En v3.0 (fire fixed).cpr (256,1 Ko)
I’m waiting for your feedback to confirm the fix.
But it’s working fine from my end. ![]()
And sadly we have a problem with SATELLITE WARRIOR that needs to press “ENTER” at the end of a game
So sadly not full joypad compatible, just for a little key.

Sorry, i’m not a programmer, can you reset the game when the game end. However I remember when the game ended, I believe you actually had to reset the CPC.
