J1B2 - select block
J1B1 - equivalent of TAB, lets you select the bonus then J1B2 places it
Pause - pauses game
H for Hint and C for Collect don’t work on GX4000 of course. Collect just seems to finish the level early once you’ve collected enough of each colour, but you can finish the level by manually matching all the possible remaining blocks
(I’ve messaged the developer on Itch to ask if he could update the controls so it’s fully working on the GX4000)
C to collect bonus is really part of the gameplay as it permits to quickly finish levels without having to match all the remaining blacks. So the game isn’t completely working on GX4000 without it.

Use the dpad to select options on the main menu.
Up and down and J1B1 to select letters if you get a high score.
In this one, you can even redefine keys if you want to use J1B2 and the pause button for the pause and abort functions ![]()
Vosges6128 has updated Pedrisco with a specific GX4000/Plus version, so play that instead of the converted version above
(It’s a nice update!)
And this GX4000 version offers a real joypad control system, hardware sprites, better music and even GFX using the 4096 color scheme. Very nice ![]()
Ok, so we’re being hit with an avalanche of new releases for our GX4000s. No problem. @DARKGATE , @Urusergi took some time to patch the small key needed to play properly:
SATELLITE WARRIOR
from Amsoft
Already near to be full joypad supported for two players, now you’re invited to press FIRE rather than ENTER to skip the summary screen at the end of a game. And just to be smarter, border is now black.

About the possibility of add saves in the abbey of crime in picogx.
Well, there is a little problem,i don’t remeber how compile It XD.
A difference of the other Games i patch, abbey of crime work patching the cracked game at fly,he have all the patches pre-compiled in the cartridge and he copy It into the gx4000 ram overwriting the 64k base Game each time the console run the game.
The problem is that to generate these pre-compiled patchs(the different 16k blocks of all 64k ram) i vagely remember that i take a zone from here, another from there from the winape ram compiled from asm.
And thats the problem,i don’t remember now these order as don’,t think i need patch the game years latter and i don’t documented It
Also i unkown if there is some free space to implement the patch, as picogx documentation tell you can’t save from the cartridge.
The zip file you uploaded only seems to have the Satellite Warrior text file in it ![]()
Wooops ! Fixed ![]()
Fantastic, thank you!

Very fun Basic game where you collect Back to the Future-related items with your DeLorean to increase your speed, while avoiding the cigarette packets which slow you down.

Heh that’s pretty cool for BASIC!
(BTW: is it proper to upload games that have a “make your own price” tag on them? I think I may have done that myself…)
Let’s be honest, I’m not sure someone using the “make your own price” is really waiting for something. And if you really want to make a donation, just go to the itch.io page and ask for download, you’ll be invited to do it ![]()
That’s a decent point, but I also agree with @ixien that if you do like the game and want to donate then I’ve included their Itch.io pages so it’s easy to do so (as I’ve done for games which I’ve particularly enjoyed).
Yes, both good points. I make a point of actually paying for all the ones I like on itch.io, and I do appreciate the “pay what you want” option.
However, what bothers me is that just maybe the devs don’t intend them for general distribution, whether they make any money or not.
Over on the Speccy scene there was a lot of discussion around this, partly because they have a lot of active development but also because it tends to be quite a lot stricter about copyright and preservation efforts.
There were definitely some developers who were not keen to have their free games shared elsewhere, purely because they used itch.io stats to get an idea of how popular games are to help steer future efforts. So maybe the best thing is to try and ask Devs where possible if they mind and just shares links to itch if they’d prefer?
