The MC0044D board questions

So happy the Forum is back! Thanks so much to Gryzor and everyone who made it possible.

I had a question about the MC0044D board. On my 15khz LCD there are very faint vertical lines. I have only had one previously a number of years back and I seem to remember the same faint lines in the output. I was thinking power. Now this board - someone had made a jumper due to broken power jack trace - I thought cleaning it up may help - I desoldered and made a solid connection with thicker wire but it is basically the same and I am wondering if maybe these boards are like that?

Dieses problematische Board hat außerdem eine geringe Lautstärke über den Lautsprecher UND den Audioausgang. Das bekomme ich irgendwie auch nicht behoben.

Zur Info – ich habe das Tonproblem gelöst, falls noch jemand damit zu kämpfen hat. Ich musste den Widerstand R301 und den Elektrolytkondensator C301 auf der Kassettenplatine austauschen. Ich finde zwar immer noch, dass diese späteren Platinen etwas empfindlicher bei RGB an LCDs reagieren – aber über Scart sieht es ganz gut aus.
